Brit's Grad Festivities

Brittany's Grad Pic

Oh Yeah!

Miss Britt decided she wanted to have a dinner party with her most favorite people. But, not just your average old gathering at the house.
She wanted it to be special!
I suggested we use the garage.
Thankfully Britt either shared my vision or trusted me because this required a months worth of cleaning out the garage.
After selling stuff on KSL, taking Several trips to Savers with donations, two days worth of paper shredding, a big trip to the dump, some major organization of the sheds and house...
Finally the garage was clean and ready for it's transformation into....

The Love House
East Dining Hall

As you can see, we had a full house! Once you were in your seat, you had to stay there until you were done. The dining hall was beautiful though. With twinkle lights & candles creating a fabulous glow, it was warm, beautiful, and very cozy.

Madi enjoyed the pleasure of taking care of the kids at the kids table. (one of the kids told me that their party was better because they got to play games.)

On the menu...
Snacks: Goldfish Crackers (why not? they're delicious!)
Starter: Dinner Salad w/ assorted dressings
Main Dish: White Lightening Chicken Chili w/ Mom's Delicious Corn Bread
Beverages: Coke in glass bottles (a major hit!), Water, Sparkling Cider, Hansen's Sodas
Dessert: A fabulous Sheet Cake. Mmmm... Cake!

Proud Mom & Britt are excited to have pulled it off. :)
Special thanks to all who helped....
Grandma Patty~ for letting us scavenge some things from her house to make the room extra special.
Marie~ for helping with setup on the day of, lending chairs & taking pics.
Bree~ for helping with setup and lending chairs.
Chris~ for offering ideas & items, but especially for bringing the cake!
Madi~ for helping clean the garage & setup
Phil~ for sitting next to the fridge. You'd better be nice to Phil if you want that bottled Coke. :)

The following weekend....
A couple of sisters in the congregation had planned a gathering for Brittany.

Baked potato bar, delicious desserts, good company, and volleyball. It was a lovely day in fall.

So generous and thoughtful. Thank you!

The pictures below are unrelated, but some moments Britt has enjoyed over the last several months.

There's nothing more fun than a fabulous dancing dress.
Best Friends Forever
Looking beautiful at a formal anniversary party.
