This is about a month late, but whatever. :)
My dear sister Melanie planned dinner for us at her house last month. We had a delicious soup bar.
Heather brought the bread bowls... Mmmm... Bread...
Melanie made beef stew & Josh's Mom's Caesar Salad... Delicious!
I made White Lightening Chicken Chili. Mmmm...
Justin & Deanne brought Salad.
And... Mom brought Brownie Sundaes for dessert. Deeelicious!
The kids played & played until we gathered in the living room to play a game that proves just how competitive my kids can get. LOL
Melanie explains the rules. I don't remember the name.
There is one die in the bowl that will be constantly passed around. Each person rolling it. If they roll a six they have to get in the middle of the floor, put on a hat & gloves, and try to open the prize that is wrapped up tight in paper.
Here Melanie demonstrates what to do when you get a six.
Everybody in the room rolled a six at least once. LOL
Played with the camera a bit and figured out how to capture Tia's spinning glow sticks in action.
Sydney found a tv to watch some cartoons for a bit.
And, finally time for those delicious brownie sundaes.
What a fun night! Thanks for having us over Josh & Melanie!
